Introducing The STARS Program

YCIA is pleased to announce

the Supporting and Tutoring "At-Risk" Students (STARS) Program.

Goals for The STARS Program include:

Providing individualized academic assistance, building strong personal relationships, creating a supportive environment, and addressing potential challenges beyond academics, like social or emotional issues, to help students succeed in school despite potential obstacles they might face.
Tailor tutoring sessions to each student's specific needs, learning style, and academic gaps, focusing on areas where they struggle most.
Regularly monitor progress and provide feedback to ensure students are on track and address any concerns early on.
Maintain open communication with students, parents, and school staff to ensure everyone is informed about progress and concerns
Incorporate engaging activities, goal setting, and rewards to keep students motivated and invested in their learning.      
Celebrate successes and provide consistent positive feedback to boost confidence and motivation.

Registration is March 5, 2025, from 4:00pm to 5:30 pm.
